I read 2 books this summer on mindfulness which I highly recommend to anyone who is a teacher; Buddha in the Classroom; Mindful Teaching and Teaching Mindfulness. Here is a simple kindness reflection to help you feel connected. I say this every morning or a variation of it.
May I feel joy.
May I heal from pain.
May I find peace.
May I gain greater wisdom and skill
May my loved ones feel joy.
May my loved ones heal from pain
May my loved ones find peace.
May my loved ones gain greater wisdom and skill.
I finish with the same prayer but I say instead ‘May all Sentient Beings’…etc.
